Dionysia Wine Festival (15-16August 2025, Stroumbi village, Paphos) – A popular two-night wine festival celebrating Cyprus’ wine tradition, named after Dionysus the ancient god of wine. Held in the village of Stroumbi (15km north of Paphos), the event offers plentiful local winery stalls with wine tasting, traditional souvla barbecue and other food, and folk entertainment. Visitors can enjoy live syrtaki dancing, Cypriot music, and even participate in grape-crushing demonstrations as done in old times.
