Panagia Limeniotissa Basilica

Panagia Limeniotissa is situated in Kato Pafos, near the harbour.

Built in the early 5th century and dedicated to "Our Lady of the Harbour", which is the meaning of "Limeniotissa", it was almost completely destroyed during the 7th century Arab raids. Although it was later restored, another disaster, this time an earthquake in the 12th century, completely destroyed it.

The visitor can see some colorful mosaics and a few restored columns.
